Zip Code Routing

Zip Code Routing is a way to give your callers the choice to route to the proper Location by entering in a zip code.

How Does It Work?

Zip Code Routing is easy to set up, and maintenance is a easy and straightforward.   

Prior to activation, you will provide a list of Zip Codes and where you would like them to route.  You will also provide a default destination that can be used if the caller does enter a Zip Code that is not specifically routed. 

  1. Once Zip Code Routing is configured for your domain, your customers will call in as normal.   
    1. If you already have an Auto Attendant greeting, this will still play.   

  2. The caller will then receive a prompt to enter their Zip Code.  
    1. This prompt can be our pre-recorded version, or your own custom recording

  3. Once entered, our system will route the call based on the Zip Code.   
    1. If there is no match for the Zip Code, the call will route to the default destination that you provided. 




What If I Need to Make a Change or Add Additional Zip Codes?

Not a problem. 
  1. Simply click here to access the Zip Code Routing Form page.  Scroll down and click Zip Code Routing Form.


  2. Fill it out, and your request will be sent to us automatically.  

  3. We will make your requested changes, test, and then notify you when all changes are complete.
