The Yealink WH62 is a new class of DECT wireless professional headsets.  The Yealink WH62 is compatible with most of our Yealink phone models and is cross-compatible with many Polycom phone models as well.

Cable Connection

  1. You will connect using the included micro USB to USB A cable.
    1. Insert the micro USB end into the Base.  Insert the USB A end into the phone. 

  2. If needed, reboot your phone. 


Headset Connection to a Polycom Phone


Setup and Cabling for the Polycom VVX

Polycom VVX series phones will connect using the included micro USB to USB A cable. 
  1. Insert the micro USB end into the Base.  Insert the USB A end into the phone.   The USB A connection on the phone may be on the side and/or back of the phone.  

  2. After cabling the Headset, set up your Polycom phone to work with the Headset for call control. 


Setup and Cabling for the Poly Edge
  1. If you are connecting a Poly Edge series phone to this headset, you will connect using an EHS60 adapter and two of the three included cables that come with it.  These are cables A and C.

    1. Plug the micro USB end into the Yealink WH62 base.
    2. Connect Cables A (a single cable with two RJ9 phone ends) and Cable C (a single cable with an RJ45 and a five-pin connector) into one end of the adapter, and plug the other end into the phone. 

  2. If needed, reboot your phone.   

  3. After cabling the Headset, set up your Polycom phone to work with the Headset for call control. 


Program the Headset to the Polycom Phone

After cabling the Headset, set up your Polycom phone to work with the Headset for call control. 
  1. Click the Menu button (HOME icon) >> Basic >> Preferences >> Headset >>
    1. Select Headset Memory.
    2. Select Enabled.

  2. Press the back button.

  3. Press Hookswitch mode.
    1. Select Yealink.

  4. Your phone will reboot automatically.
