Poly Savi 8400 Series (8410-Mono/8420-Dual)

The Poly Savi 8400 series is a new class of DECT wireless professional headsets.  The Poly Savi 8400 series is compatible with most of our Polycom phone models and is cross-compatible with many Yealink phone models as well.

  3. Up to 13 hours of talk time
  4. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet certified

Headset Connection to a Polycom Phone

Cable Connection

  1. Remove the EHSAPP 51 cable and connect it to the Lifter port and telephone headset port on the back of the base station.  Then, insert the other end of the cable into the 5-pin jack and telephone headset port to the back or side of your phone.


  2. Connect the power adapter cable to the DC port on the back of the base station and to the power outlet.  

  3. Allow the headset to charge if needed.  After cabling the Headset, set up your Polycom phone to work with the Headset for call control (see below).

Note:  There is a power switch on the side of the Headset. Before using the Headset, make sure to switch on the power for the Headset




Program the Headset to the Polycom Phone

After cabling the Headset, set up your Polycom phone to work with the Headset for call control. 
  1. Click the Menu button (HOME icon) >> Basic >> Preferences >> Headset >>
    1. Select Headset Memory.
    2. Select Enabled.

  2. Press the back button.

  3. Press Hookswitch mode.
    1. Select Poly.

  4. Your phone will reboot automatically.

Additional Recommendations

  1. It is highly recommended that you also connect your Poly Savi 8410/8420 Headset to the Poly Lens App by going to https://www.hp.com/us-en/poly/software-and-services/software/poly-lens/app.html.

  2. Connecting to the Poly Lens App allows you to adjust and customize your preferences, troubleshoot, and update your software


Setup and Cabling
  1. You will connect using the included micro USB to USB A cable.
    1. Insert the micro USB end into the Base.  Insert the USB A end into the phone

  2. If needed, reboot your phone.
