Do you work or travel through areas with low, intermittent, or no Data connection available?  Most Applications, when not using Wi-Fi, run on the strength of the available data connection.
  1. Our Mobile App is different!  The Clarity Office Anywhere Mobile App may run on the data connection by default but can be changed to run off your cellular phone signal for outbound calling.



How Does It Work?

When the Mobile Phone setting is chosen, as long as you have Cellular Tower signal, you will still be able to make Outbound calls through your Clarity Mobile App, even when other Apps are unable to load or receive data.




What About Inbound Call Routing?

  1. If you find yourself often working in areas with low or intermittent data/Wi-Fi, let us work with you to adjust your Inbound Call Routing accordingly.  We are available by call or by opening a Ticket Request.



How Do I Change My Settings?

Just follow these instructions to switch your Outbound Calling default method. 

  1. Open your Clarity Office Anywhere Mobile App on your cell phone.   Login with your credentials if you are not already logged in.  

  2. In the bottom right corner, click the three-line Menu.
  3. Choose Settings. 

  4. Choose Mobile Number.  Type in your cell phone number. Then, scroll down to Default Calling Method. Choose Mobile Phone.

  5. When you are finished, just exit out of the Settings. These changes take about five minutes to take effect.   


How Do I Use This Setting?

  1. Inbound Calls: Inbound call behavior while on this setting will not change.  You may have the Outbound Setting configured to "mobile phone" without affecting your Inbound Call Routing.
  2. Outbound Calls:  Place an outbound call like you normally would through the mobile app.
    1. The call will ring to Clarity first, then the call will automatically and immediately be returned to you as an inbound call
    2. This allows us to mask your actual cell phone's number even when using your cell phone's signal.  Your customer will see the Caller ID of your Extension, not your cell phone. 
    3. Just answer the call, and the call will immediately ring through to the person you dialed.
