Jabra Engage 65

Headset Setup

Start by connecting the headset to the phone:

  1. Connect the supplied RJ-9 cable to the blue telephone port on the back of the base station and plug into the telephone headset port on the back of the phone
  2. Remove the Poly EHS cable from the bag and connect it to the red AUX port on the back of the base station and then insert the 5pin jack to the back of your phone
  3. Connect the power adapter cable to the yellow port on the back of the base station and to the power outlet.  You will hear music from the base station.
  4. Connect the supplied USB cable into the USB port at the back of the base station and then plug into a USB port on your PC.

Program a Polycom phone to work with the headset:

  1. Click the menu button (HOME icon) >> Basic >> Preferences >> Headset >>
  2. Select Headset Memory
  3. Select Enabled
  4. Press the back button
  5. Press Hookswitch mode
  6. Select Jabra EHS
  7. Your phone will reboot automatically
After cabling, the Yealink phone should detect the correct settings.
