How to Use Teams Connector

Teams Connector 

Does your business use Microsoft Teams?  Add Teams Connector and put the power of Clarity Voice inside Teams
  1. Access the Clarity Portal inside the Teams interface, streamlining business communication and workflow without switching applications.

  2. Integrate with other apps inside Microsoft Teams, like Office 365 and Trello, to improve business efficiency and productivity.  

  3. Enhance Teams with the Clarity Call App, an advanced cloud communication system that outperforms the native Teams calling app without additional monthly fees such as those seen with other services.

  4. Download the free Teams app on your mobile phone or tablet to utilize our Clarity features, including the Clarity Call App.



How Does Teams Connector Work?

  1. Once Teams Connector has been added, we will work with you to connect the Clarity Portal to your Microsoft Teams.

  2. Each User with Teams Connector will be able to access their full Portal, right from Teams.   This includes the Manager View (if applicable). 

  3. They will also gain access to our Clarity Call App (both in Teams and the mobile Teams version).   

  4. Outbound Calls made from the Clarity Call App will show your business Caller ID. 

  5. You may choose to add the Clarity Call App extensions to your normal Inbound Call Routing, or you may choose to leave the Call App as outbound only.



How Do I Use Teams Connector?

Once Teams Connector has been added, you will be able to access both the Portal and the Clarity Call App from your Teams window. 
  1.  Login to your Teams as normal.  You should see Portal and Clarity Call App in your side menu.   

    1. If you do not see these Apps, click the three dot View More Apps, then type in Clarity Portal.  Select it.  Do the same for Clarity Call App.
        
    2. For ease of use, it is always recommended to Pin both Apps to your Teams side menu.  Just right-click the App and choose Pin


  2. Click the Clarity Portal App and you will be automatically logged into Portal using Single Sign-On.  Your Portal is now fully accessible in your Teams window. 



What About the Clarity Call App?

  1. Login to your Teams as normal.  You should see Portal and Clarity Call App in your side menu.   

    1. If you do not see these Apps, click the three dot View More Apps, then type in Clarity Portal.  Select it.  Do the same for Clarity Call App.
        
    2. For ease of use, it is always recommended to Pin both Apps to your Teams side menu.  Just right-click the App and choose Pin


  2. Click the Clarity Call App from your side Menu or View More Apps menu.  Dial as normal. 


  3. You will also have access to the Call History as well in the same window. 



What About the Clarity Call App (mobile version)?

  1. Access your normal Microsoft Teams Mobile App

  2. Click the three dot More menu in the bottom right.  Then click the Clarity Call App
    1. If the Clarity Call App is not in your list, click Add Apps then search for the Clarity Call App

  3. Your Clarity Call App will open.  Dial as normal. 


Note: When you dial outbound, your call will be sent to Clarity and returned back to you.   This process will replace your cell phone's Caller ID with your business Caller ID
Answer the call, and then we will connect you.   
  1. Your Teams Notifications for inbound calls must be on so that you can receive this return call.  If you do not prefer this method, you may always use the Clarity Mobile App with its default Outbound settings on to make outbound calls.
