How Do I Use Clarity Cellular?

Clarity Cellular is the ultimate solution for businesses on the go.
  1. Works with your cell phone’s native calling app, so no app to download, logins, etc.

  2. Allows you to take incoming business calls on your cell phone. 

  3. Make outbound calls by switching to your business line with a tap on your screen.  Your customers will see your business Caller ID.

  4. Doesn’t depend on an internet connection or LTE data.

  5. Includes all the rich features and functionality of the Clarity Voice cloud phone system, including call routing, recording, analytics, and more.

  6. Business Texting is included!  Send and receive business texts on your cell phone from your phone's native messaging app. 



How Do I Use Clarity Cellular?

Clarity Cellular is easy to use!  Once your SIM has been added, you will be able to switch from personal to business phone calls and texts with a tap on your screen.

Making a Call

  1. To make a phone call from your business line, tap your phone icon as normal.


  2. At the top of the screen, tap Personal and you’ll see a dropdown menu. 

    1. Select Use Business Line.  You will then see the type switch to Business. 


  3. Enter the number you wish to dial and send the call as normal. 

    1. NOTE: Once you tap the secondary line (i.e.,Business), this line will stay as the outbound calling line until your phone screen turns off. 
    2. When your phone screen turns back on, your default calling plan will be primary (in this example, it will default back to Personal)



How Do I Receive a Call on Clarity Cellular?

Inbound calls to your business line will ring with a B next to the caller's Caller ID, to easily identify a business call.  




How Do I Add a Contact?

You may create a Business/Work contact list to easily call/text directly from your business phone number.
  1. Tap the Contacts icon.


  2. Tap Lists in the top left corner and tap Add List at the top right corner.

    1. Enter the list name and click Done.
    2. Tap the newly created list and add your contact(s).

  3. To always call from your business phone number to this contact, tap the contact to Edit.

    1. Tap “always use” and select Business.

    2. Click Done.



What About Business Voicemail?

  1. To retrieve business voicemail messages from your cell phone, tap the Phone icon.  Tap the Dial Pad and select your Business line.


  2. Dial *97, then enter your 4-digit Voicemail Access Code, followed by #.  This will dial into your Clarity Voicemail

    1. Pro Tip:  For even easier voicemail dialing, add Clarity Voicemail as a Contact.



How Do I Text from My Business Line with Clarity Cellular?

  1. Click the Messages icon.

    1. NOTE: The SMS/Text notification on your cell phone is for both your native cell phone Messages and your Clarity Extension's Text Messages

  2. Click Create a New Message.


  3. Enter the phone number you would like to send the text to and click the + icon.

    1. Tap the From field and select Business.

    2. Enter your text message and send!
Note:  If you are using Clarity Cellular texting without SMS Sync, you will text from your Clarity Cellular device only. 

If you need the ability to also text from Portal, this can be enabled for you by our Support team. With SMS Sync, you will be able to text from both Portal and your Clarity Cellular device.   With SMS Sync:
  1. Inbound texts will appear in both places.
  2. Outbound texts sent from Portal will only appear in Portal and not Clarity Cellular.  Outbound texts sent from your Clarity Cellular device will appear in both places.
